IMO blu ray should be standard 'cos it have discs with higher capacity, the highest is 100GB at one disc.

Blu-ray has region coding and it's also less durable.

The hell with Blu-Ray and HD-DVD, I'm boycotting them both. DVD is still good enough for me.
