This is great news. Everything fully configured and working upon purchase. Course I'd buy one. It's an excellent way to ensure 100% Linux compatibility (I can change the distro immediatly afterwards).
A bigger slice of market share would result more/better hardware drivers and more consideration of Linux compatibility for software/games.

Here's the official announcement

Either buy Linux compatible games, install free/GPLed games, Use wine or buy/compile cedega. It most certainly is the true pro's gaming OS of the future. You can strip down and recompile your own kernel, get your games running with minimal excess resource usage. Basically it's your OS and it's not to be compared with XP. It's common for most Linux gamers to play games like Doom3, Quake4, Neverwinter Nights, Nexuiz, Tremulous, Warsow but Wesnoth has it's own fans and so does bzflag (0o). A thing that some Linux gamers do is add the name of their distro to the end of their nick. For example if I was gaming on zenwalk I'd be Unixlord@zenwalk.

Ubuntu is not the best distro in the world, but they are growing pretty fast, im amazed with that new. But i still think it doesnt have a professional look interface / artwork. Maybe im not using it at the right way, can someone point me a guide to use ubuntu? Ill try Kubuntu, i just wanted to know if their packages are bleeding edge (amarok, kdevelop, vlc, gcc, wxwidget(version stable 2.6.3), alien), im pretty unsure if i really want to do it, everyone is telling me to give it a try. Thanks for sharing this.

Well kdebase is at the latest stable version (3.5.6). I think you'll find your questions regarding packages answered here. Also kubuntu frequently update their packages (much faster than the gnome ubuntu team).

Google . Here
Can't see why you'd complain about the interface. It's all fully editable. You get the most massive apt repository with almost every package you could ever want which would only be possible by adding lots of extra 3rd party untrusted repositories in other distros. As I said I'm going to (when I get the time) compile some ubuntu tweaks with a few tips for gaming peformance as well.
Ubuntu is not my favorite distro but it's a great choice because of the popularity and the fantastic community. Log in to their IRC channel and see for yourself.
