bought hl2:ep1 but still waiting for steam support to fix my problem (so i cant play. and their support sucks - i am waiting more than a week for response!) |

IModAmd, does the english conversion patch convert ALL Russian texts to English. From what I've heard only the menus are converted to English (after all people have better things to do than translate everything). So basically missions will display in Russian? No sign of the English release...

Well after some digging it's apparent that the conversion pack replaces all texts with english. Good stuff  . There's even a bigger one that replaces lots of voice audio too.

The patch convert ONLY the text i didnt found an bigger one for the voice... but it's funny to hear russian it put you more in the context  ... as you know stalker have some bugs and sometime the text still display in russian... but it's pretty funny rofl :P I think i will w8 for buy the Multi4 version

I know the original stalker had lots of bugs on release but became really stable after a few patches and mods just made it fantastic (I never thought I'd be running over bandits in an armored car). I'm buying the European version of clear sky simply because the Russian version has a PITA copy protection scheme. I'm going to finish Bioshock while I'm waiting.

While the expansions were nowhere near as long or good as the original they weren't too bad for of action in the FEAR universe. Extraction point had some cool environments and Perseus mandate had some *GASP* challenging encounters. Maybe it's because I didn't pay for them, the fact that I didn't feel ripped off allowed me to enjoy their faint qualities.

I dint realize that my RIG can render that game soo smooth .
