Default Problem updating to any new drivers period

I tried updating to both the NGO versions of 93.71 and 93.81 and it took booting in safe mood to actually get 93.81 to install (if I installed it without safe mode, Windows told me that it was uncertified software and I got a blue screen of death shortly afterwards) and when I restarted and booted normally with 93.81 installed, I got a blue screen of death and could not get into windows without reverting to my old settings. Does anyone have any advice?

And yes, I realize my username's grammatically incorrect. For whatever reason they can't add one more letter onto the user name limit....bah anyways.

Did you completely uninstall your previous drivers and try running a driver or registry cleaner before installing ? Sounds like you have some kind of conflict there ...

Yes I did completely uninstall the old drivers each time I tried it, and I did use a registry cleaner (I used Registry First Aid, although I only have the trial version and I could only 'clean' 19 files) but haven't found a free one that will let me do a full cleaning of the entire registry. If you could point me to one, I'd be grateful.

I use JV16 Powertools but the free version does have some limitations ...

Alright...well I used Power Tools to clean out my registry (some 1200 items, definately a useful utility) and afterwards I completely uninstalled the previous drivers in safe mode, restarted in safe mode, installed the new NGO version of the 93.81 driver, and then restarted in regular mode and I couldn't start the computer without getting the blue screen of death with 'PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA' as a result. Frustrating without a doubt...

Thats strange what do you get with the newest drivers from NV ?

Noticed your mainboard is Dell just curious if perhaps something in the NGOHQ drivers is causing conflict or drivers period ?
