Default Getting Dual Displays to Work Properly!

Hey all,

I just got a new 22" LCD to replace my old monitor, and I decided that I would set them up together. Well, I wanted to have it so that my new display was my primary display. To me, primary meaning that when I full screen applications, or open a game, it opens on my primary display. I just want my secondary display to be an extention of my desktop, nothing more. I cannot for the life of me seem to figure out how I can do this via the NGO NVIDIA control panel. The only options I have are like, "Horizontal Split", "Vertical Split", "Clone", blah, blah. None of them are the ones I am looking for!

Any help in the matter would be greatly appreciated! I could have sworn I was able to do this in just plain windows with extended desktop before. But now a second display is not even an option in windows and my drop down box is greyed out. Anyways..

Thanks for reading - I hope someone can give me some answers!

- Ian

Cool

I never done this , but if im right ther is something like DESKTOP MANAGEMENT. I dont know is this what you look for but ther was something about multiple displays in it (windows section). Also in this section ther is IDENTIFY DISPLAYS button.

Well... There in lies my problem . I cannot access any of the windows features as far as desktop display goes. I have no idea why! I have a second video card if required.

Thanks,

Ian
