#1 | | Newbie | | CPU: Pentium 4 HT 3.4 GHZ | | Ngo Driver Temp Hello guys i am new on this forum,
I have a XFX 7800GS XT en using the Normal 92.91.
But sometimes i have the problem the my screens go out and my pc crashes.
I heard from someone that the NGO drivers are good.
So i tried the nvodngov18426 but my temps are like 7C higher then normal.
First it was underload on 50C but now on 57C.
I uninstalled the NGO drivers but nothing changed, tried Driver Cleaner Pro no change :/.
What can i do?
Greetz,

| Same here.
It appears that the default enabling of the overclocking section of the control panel in NGO drivers causes a mild problem with something about the card not idling properly when not under heavy use.
Try putting the card under load and see if the under load temp is any higher. That would give more clues.

Those temps are fine. I can't see why you'd want to revert. Try the latest NGO and see if there's any difference.

#7 | | Newbie | | CPU: Pentium 4 HT 3.4 GHZ | | i tried it. But there was a bug in the clocks it said the the memory clock was something like 2.6ghz :/.
And the temps where same.
But if my gpu can idle lower why not!

You installed the drivers at your own risk you can format at your own risk and no guarantees for anything. I haven't tried formating. If install is fresh then I suppose formatting wouldn't be too painful.
