CPU: Amd64 X2 4600+
GPU: SLI Nvidia 7950GT
M/B: M2N32-SliDeluxe
RAM: 2Gigs DDR2 Kingston667
PSU: 600W
Default Wierd sounds with SLI enabled

When ever i play NFS: Carbon, i try tweaking the profile i made for the game. When ever i play with SLI enabled it seems incompatable with the game. Not only with that game but with others as well like Ultimate Alliance for example. If i try Split-Frame rendering orr SLI-Antialiasing the game runs badly. There are static sounds. Im using latest NGO drivers and all my drivers are upto date. So what could be the problem

Make sure you’re using the latest drivers from Creative Labs. Try to move your sound card to another PCI slot. I believe you’re encountering these issues because of IRQ sharing. Basically, devices are supposed to work with no problems while sharing IRQs; this is in the PCI specifications and it shouldn’t cause any problems. However, Creative’s products seem to cause some problems with IRQ sharing for an ‘unknown’ reasons. Moving your sound card into another PCI slot may automatically assign another IRQ. You can view IRQ table inside ‘Device Manager’ > View > Resources by Connection.
