What are VIVO drivers?

Hi,

I just got my 7800GS card and will be installing it later tonight. I glanced at the contents of the driver CD and was wondering what the VIVO drivers are. Do I need them, are they also included on the NGOHQ releases?

Also is it true I will get a bit better performance by using the DVI to VGA dongle?

Nope, but you can grab it here. Anyway, 7800GS AGP cards are known as troublemakers (with any driver). If you’re experiencing any black signal issues with your card, make sure to use our driver under Compatibility mode.

Nope.

Working flawlessly so far. However, the fan on this card is very loud, kind of like a hairdryer at 100%. Is this normal?
