Hi, I want to download a driver for my nvidia card, but before doing so I would like to know if there is anything I should do before downloading the driver n installing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Make sure you uninstall the old driver and enjoy

* Download new driver.
* Uninstall current one from Add & Remove Progs
* Reboot
* Install the new one
* Reboot & that's it.

A handy tool to remove traces of drivers not properly removed after offcial uninstall.
