Default Geforce 7900gx2 - only one gpu supported?

hi there,
i have a geforce 7900gx2 (xfx). the problem is when using the ngo driver the performance is about a normal 7900gt (4800 3dmarks @06). if i use the normal nvidia driver (7000 3dmarks @06) i have some gfx bugs so i actually use the ngo driver with less performance.

is there a way to use the full performance with the ngo drivers? i have a non-SLI mainboard (Asus A8N-E).

Hi,
The drivers 91.45 and 47 are a complete fiasco.
Very bad performance on 7950 GX2, You have to take it off from the download section and fix it.
the driver 91.37 work much better.
Try to test it with the simulator Pacific-fighters and Lockon and you will see.

Thank you for your work.

i must disagree, i have seen a major performance upgrade with NGO versions of 91.47

you are basing your findings on 2 games that are older than most games - i suggest trying other games.

if you do not see a performance gain then you have set up your system wrong.

also note that i was having issues with 91.47 due to a microsoft update - it seemd to drop most of my FPS down to 20 in alot of games - i updated once more and it cleared the problem.

please also note that if you have a slow CPU you will experience a bottleneck.

Well i'm talking about very demanding simulators like IL2 series and Lockon/Flaming-Cliff , i lets the games for the others to comment, The performances of ALL drivers above 91.37 are very poor for simulators.
Nothing is wrong with my setup this is sure. in the 91.37 driver i run at 85/90 fps constent 1280x1024 and with all 91.45,47,48, 92.91 drivers i run from 14 to 50 fps max.. SLI mode.

There is a huge community that hope to have a good drivers for those specifics Simulators. Nvidia 7950 Gx2 + 2GB STT1066+ E6700 oc.

So here is my demande from all of us simmers

Thank you.
