Default XFX GeForce 7800GS

Hell there I dont want to bother anybody but i am having a problem.I am one of those fools who bought this card and the nivdia offial drivers dont support it, lol.It was a problem for along time for those who bought it until we stumbled across NGO optimised drivers and they work brill and do the trick. Now the thing is the up to date ones, NGO Optimised 91.31 dont do what the old NGO ones does for this card. Also the 84.66 NGO dont either.Just wondering could anybody shed some light on this matter??? Thanks in advance

If im correct (i had the same problem with my XfX 7800GS Extreme) you can go to your retailer where you bought the card and exchange it for a model with version 1.3.. This can only be done if the retailer is on the XFX site as: XFX shop of some kind.

If you cant return it to the shop you can contact XFX on the official site about this matter.

I just exhanged it @ the shop where i bought it..

Hope you get it done m8,
Shifty

Yeah m8 i am using the 84.56 but the up to date ones dont work sshiftyp m8,thanks for the advice but i have been down that road and no joy at all.I bought the card off Komplett here in Ireland and they washed their hands of it and told me to go to xfx.Well it seems their forums were full of complaints about this card and the drivers. There was much bad feedback about it and other cards that it seems they have erased the forums on the site lol.But having said all this at least i can use the card with the old drivers cause i couldnt with the official ones. Also one good thing came with the forums of xfx,i came across the NGO drivers lol Thanks again guys for the help

If komplett still had this card longer then 2 months ago then you should wright a letter to there HQ.. the v 1.0 and other malfuctioning cards were supposed to be taken out of the "products to be sold" list.. because of the fan problems and the driver errors..

damn those retailers who only think of money and dont bother helping there customers.

Question 7800 GS black screen and Windows Vista

I am one of those fools that started to use Vista and guess what the black screen problem is back although it seems to take much longer before it occurs then "in the old days".

Do you guys plan to mod the latest nVidia Vista X86 driver? (and solve the black screen@the same time?)
