umm.. unless these guys have reversed the meaning of the word "latency", to give something more time, you would -decrease- the latency, not increase it...

what's wrong with this picture?

PCI Latencies are different to Memory latencies.

the problem with XiFi cards is that they crave alot of cpu time, and are usually either set to 32 or 0.

setting it to 64 will allow it to have as much cpu time as the gpu and might reduce audio popping.

You can only modify the AGP controller and the Realtek device in your system and 64 is the best value.

hey guys, has anyone seen a working link for Pci Latency tool 2.7a or 2.3?, 3.1 doesn't work on my older system.

Everything I find is either dead or linked to the new version on Guru .. will keep my eyes open though
