The problem is not yet solved but there is a workaround solution which disables the microphone of the camera. Follow these steps (copy/paste from the Logitech support page):
Method 2
Rename the Audio component directory.
The following procedure will disable and prevent audio components from executing and should avoid the blue screen error.
1. Disconnect the camera from the USB port
2. Restart the computer until all startup items load
3. Go to "Start" and select "Run"
4. Type C:\Program Files\Common Files\Logitech
5. Click "OK"
6. Locate and rename the ?KAudp? folder to ?KAudP.old?
7. Go to "Start" select "Run and type C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers
8. Locate and rename "Lvckap.sys" to "Lvckap.old"
9. Restart the computer
10. Once restarted, reconnect the camera into the USB port
11. Test camera operations to verify the workaround was successful.
Following the steps above in method 2 will disable the microphone built in to your Quick cam video device. This is a temporary workaround solution in order to bypass a Windows blue screen error and allow video functionality. Please check back periodically for software and drivers updates that may completely address this problem and allow full audio operations.
