Default Blue Screen with HP zv5000 and GeForce 440 GO

I'm getting a blue screen + restart whenever I try to change my resolution from 640x480 to anything else AND when I try to load the control panel. I am using the latest drivers with a GeForce 440 Go. Any ideas? I removed the original drivers, rebooted, and installed the lastest NGO NVIDIA Opt drivers.

Please provide more information, What OS (Operation System) are you using? (2000,XP,Vista).Note that your card is NOT supported anymore by nVidia so you'll have to look for older drivers, and if you're using windows Vista there are no drivers for GeForce 5 or lower but the legacy ones (not sure about this you'll have to wait for a more precise answer, because I dont have a GF4 to tell whats the pratical real situation).

Try cleaning with driver cleaner after you uninstalled driver , then install it once more time. Ther culd be some left over that cause BSOD.
