I wonder (if this is not a secret ofcourse), you just tweaking nv4_disp.inf to add some new advanced commands to registry or the driver core is been modified too?

PS. What's the difference beetween the "normal" and "compability" installation modes?

i think rege just made mod of nv4_disp.inf file (registry tweaks)
to open/crack and to mod other files are against a law so i dont think he done that

the difference between normal and compatible modus is (alteast i think it is) also displayed when you install ngo drivers..

but for the hell of it:

Normal - if your not experiencing any serious problems with your old drivers but hey, you wanna try the ngo driver for a change..

Compatible - if you ARE having problems and you want to see if the ngo drivers do the trick..


not 100% sure about this but i think this is correct..
