heh this is related to your last thread
if is here is my comment
>>>any way you can test drivers on your machine and decide which one is best for your pc
but you can use any of ngo drivers because they are tuned to work beter with all cards
for new games use latest ngo driver >>>DOWNLOAD LIST<<<
my old 7600 worked best with 9x.xx drivers <<<<

i dont get most of peoples who post about drivers
please look on this driver section and search for related threads that you have interest in
most people are posting without looking on this section (is that hard to read other threads ???????)
here is some of threads made for your gpu or gpus with same chip as yours

Thanks for your advice!
I know little about the driver ,and even less where to find(not nv ones)

By chance I used NGO drivers so i got this website,
then read some comments on different drivers
What i got is 91.47 and 162.18 (ngo ones)are fit for the G70s
And 93.71 may be also good for some cards.
but the ones who second that use 79, sli or better.

i test 91.47 and 162.18,with the CSS video test
but i can't make it quite the same when doing the it,
for example the hard disk condition.

For now 162.18 may got it (the score),
but it appeared that its lowest fps is lower than 91.47
(mean that when gets heavy work it cannot match with 91.47?)
when the average score exceeded 91.47

I'm not a native English speaker,
and i'm not sure if i can express it well.

Thanks again.

hmmm all ngo drivers are seted for speed and quality so if you use new one you will get lower score but better quality
new original nvidia drivers are used to push higher performance on 8xxx series
rege tuned those drivers to work properly with older gpus and when u take a look on original one and ngo drivers you will see that ngo driver are beter than original one
faster with higher quality for all gpus
if you need performance more than quality use older drivers form 9x.xx
here is one that worked best >>>DOWNLOAD<<<

and one more hint
use riva tuner to set up gpu for better speed >>>Rivatuner DL<<<
if you dont understand something just ask here

have fun

have fun
I see that,i used to think the quality is just the same
what's different is just the performance.
Since my computer is a little poor, what i need only is just performance.
I can't expect more, just high fps in games(for new ones more than 30fps is ok...)

I still have a question that many people say 91.47 is the best,
is it possible that each card(same gpu as one card) have different "best driver"?

i expect the driver that can work best when the task is heavy
'cause my gpu is so poor that most new games is a "heavy task" for it

And does 2.9792 get the best performance of all?
i know so little that i have too many questions

2.9792 is last good driver for 7xxx series (i think)
all tuneups inside a driver you can find also in rivatuner
it is not that hard to set it up
but if you dont know: all drivers have addon for games
so new driver have adons for all existing games
(some games wont run with older drivers)

anyway now i have 8800GTS and i still shut downs antialiasing and ansiotropic filtering
they take tooo much fps

i consider that 2.9792 was based on 97.92 which is made only for G8800 by nv,
and 94.24 is the last 9x.xx one for G70s,
but it seemed that it doesn't got the ngo one

i'm now using the 162.18 ngo one,
cause someone here post a thread <awesome driver>,
he and someone else say that it has exceeded 91.47 for n70s
while one of them use 79sli

i was going to test different drivers,
but before that i got different results with the same driver
130fps-137.86fps,
so i think it's impossible to test different ones in this condition
it can reason nothing about the appearence
