Not sure how this happened.. I thought I was good at uninstalling all drivers before new driver install, but had some problems with system and had to use back ups and even system restore and now I have the following on my Add or Remove Programs list:

NGO NVIDIA Optimized Driver v1.15822b
NGO NVIDIA Optimized Driver 2.15822

and on list, but not sure why.. uninstalled ages ago and can't uninstall
NGO NVIDIA Optimized Driver v2.9792

I have NVIDIA Drivers available to uninstall either of the first two, but does not work for the v2.9792. How do i remove the v2.9792 from add/remove programs?

My screen went to hell in a hand basket Friday night when I tried to re-install my TV tuner card.. some kind of conflict with nvidia drivers?? lines from top to bottom static.. crash.. its working now after re-install of drivers..but thinking I messed things up and now without losing key data.. want to make sure I have things straight.

No viable to use back ups and upgraded from 7600GT to 7900 GTX.

Registry Editor > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > Uninstall.

I went in and deleted the v2.9792 driver under the uninstall area you referred me to and used the nvidia driver to unintall the others.. so nothing shows up.. then ran driver cleaner and cab cleaner and I think I got rid of everything now, so..

Is the newest driver v1.16369 or so the best for the 7900 GTX in XP Pro?.. In addition to gaming, I would like to be able to use with a TV tuner card, either Dvico, Cats Eye or MyHD, I have access to each of these cards and maybe the On Air GT..

Some on AVS forums like older drivers for TV, but.. if possible I would rather go with the best available. What driver would you recommend this time?
