Default Latest Driver from NGO defected?

Hi, I'm new to this community.

I installed the latest version of the Forceware Optimized Drivers 1.16369 and when I tried to use the Control Panel, it doesn't appear. Also, when I right-click the task icon, in the Performance & Quality Settings, Anti-Aliasing options don't appear.

My GPU is the NVIDIA Geforce Go 7700 on a G1 Asus Laptop.

Pls help, I need good drivers for my laptop.

When you have a compatibility problem you should prob state that instead of saying the NGO drivers are defected. They work or they would not have been released.

I have an ASUS Mother board and I have to tell you they are not what they use to be. I will never buy an ASUS product again as long as I live. I paid 550 dollars for my CPU and Mainboard only to find out that if I have 4GB of Ram installed, my OS can only see 2 GB.. They are garbage!!

I use to trust ASUS but now they are like many other hardware developers and are just out to make a buck.

QUOTE "If they are only out for the buck, they must suck"

I have never gotten a bad driver from NGO...

Try increasing your performance settings and then try loading the panel...

If that doesn't work buy an Intel Desktop System

Hope this was helpful

nVidia:: Their cards are great but their driver support sucks. Loaded with bugs and they lack support for high end systems. In short they are 2 notches from sucking so bad that they go bankrupt.

Thats why we have NGO because NGO doesn't suck!

Not that I give a flying F about ASUS but this is not an ASUS problem. This is because of the x86 hardware architecture and memory mapped IO. Anyone using a Windows 32bit OS with any motherboard are going to have the same issues.
