These are, hands down, the best modded drivers I have EVER used. They completely destroy Xtreme-G, Omega, and the DHZeropoint in every way. Keep up the good work. |

I've gotten quite a few comments on my posts regarding newer NVidia drivers hurting performance on legacy cards, even only one series back (currently the 7-series (which I have)). Even the NGO modification has not been able to improve on this, though of course the IQ was obviously better.
Today I installed the latest NGO creation based on the 162.18 Forceware in my system; lo and behold, not only have these matched the performance of my beloved 91.47's, but they have exceeded it! Now I can have the latest bug fixes for the latest games, the best IQ available, and I am getting even more performance to boot.
NVidia has probably helped by finally providing a great, new driver that is also good for previous card series', but HUGE thanks to Regeneration for optimizing them and to NGO for providing then for us. BIG SMILES! |

#4 | | Newbie | Since we're talking about the latest driver here... anyone else having problems with games such as World in Conflict? I get rather strange video lockups... the screen goes black (the sounds continue normally), and the whole things becomes unresponsive (no CtrlAltDel, no Alt-Tab, no Alt-F4).
I've read that the newest original nVidia drivers could fix this, but I don't want to part with those lovely NGO drivers... |

The 7.9 has much better performance and thats the only reason why I don't use the NGO Drivers anymore. I'm hoping for a newer release soon.

#8 | | Newbie | I installed these drivers but I noticed the install file was smaller than the 15822 version and also i noticed there was no writing to an NGOHQ folder in Program files like I had seen when I had installed other drivers from NGO. Hope my install went well - Device Manager shows new version for drivers - 16218 but install was different than before. Should i be concerned about this and thanks.

Gary | The 16218 beta extracts to temp directory, and it deletes the installation files after, nothing to worry about. |

#10 | | Newbie | Thanks for your reply and for the great drivers. One last clarification in Add-Remover I don't se in NGOHQ setup files in this list of installed programs like in th eother drivers I have used. is that just a change in this installer? Thank you again.
