Default NGO+DNA+Omega+DHZer0point Benchmark Comparison

Hello NGO'ers,

I want to give you guys a head-up about an article on firingsquad. It does a comparison between 3rd party optimized drivers.

I wrote the article. I'm trying to win this writing contract thing.

Thanks to the NGO team for making the drivers.

Since doing the article I kind of thought of superior methods of benchmarking graphic driver performance -- oh well... at the very least you may find some of the numbers interesting...

Here is the link:

Thank you for your hard work on this article. However, I’d like to suggest using the same Catalyst build for round-ups because of the big influence and the reliability. You also should use DirectX8, DirectX9 and opengl-based games/benchmarks to obtain the most accurate results. In addition, I’d also recommend comparing image quality (both OpenGL and DirectX) and to add score for image quality as well. If you wish to receive more information and receive final releases for your upcoming articles, feel free to contact us here.

Thanks guys. I defintely learned a lot by writing this aritcle! And Regeneration: all your suggestions are excellent, and are very fair to say. I sincerely wish I asked for advice from NGO and the teams involved beforehand. After finishing all the testing, I realzied I could have used better benchmarks. But the reality was, after spending many many many hours doing the benches and being pressed for time to post the article, I could not go back and redo all the tests (maybe you guys have been in a similiar situation).

But again thanks for your thanks, and I hope I at least generated some traffic to your site and some interest in optimized drivers with my article.
