If the NGO 2.3 work best for you then you should use them, The 2.4's work great for me and havnt had any problems, im looking forward to using the NGO 76.50 Nvidia drivers when i get my Nvidia card, piss on ATI im tired of there lack of opengl support and never ending world of excuses.

Wat a waste of a 9800xt  ....

i got rid of my nvidia to go with ati... NVIDIA had dodgey drivers that made my card go slower n slower with every new driver...

the nvidia card i had was a fx5600...

Sounds kinda like what happened to me when I switched to the newest ATI drivers... they made HL2 very laggy. Are the 2.4's based on the newest ATI's? If so maybe it's just something funny with the ATI portion....

Some games dont respond to newer drivers good thats why ATI release's newer ones behond that. Usally they see or get it reported to them and they fix it. Its a bug in the ATI base it happens.

Well its a toss up actually. You change things in the new drivers to help perform better on the latest games and end up making others worse on accident becasue the code conflict's with good settings on other games it happen's with everything.

Yeah..

2.4 has sloppier gameplay for me also, I play CS and WoW.
WoW flying did go smooth with the 2.3s, but after switching to the 2.4s it began to stutter.
so I switched back to the 2.3s, hope the 2.5s will do better ;p.
