Weird, but i have two monitors plugged in DVI (both) on my X1950Pro and in the BIOS post, both displays work. If you are using a VGA to DVI converter, take it off and plug your screen directly into you VGA port.

I have the same issue but, it's not a problem!
it has to do with modes switching to fast for the monitor to properly react to them
and yes, I thik it has something to do with the DVI/D-SUB dongle; I use one 22" CRT
