Default Faster launching, slower playing

I have downloaded (NGO ATI Optimized Driver 1.6.3) yesterday. and began to try it. it worked fine but i feel the game is become heavy with moving and the picture is updating late(bad english I know). anyway the thing is my computer become much faster especially on launching games and closing.. and that why I liked NGO ATI Optimized Driver..
(I tried call of duty, acdsee 8 and they become much faster)
I have Radeon X600 Pro All In wonder
I feel the picture become better but I'm not sure.
I did install Catalyst Control Center (the application only) and (WDM Integrated Driver-which I don't know what it is but something for ATI )

so I know all of you are saying (AND), my question is what's wrong??
my pc is faster but the games are slower

Thanks and I hope someone help me, or I'll go back to the original driver which is disappointing..

1) There is no need to download the Craptastic Control Center when you use these optimised drivers. Get rid of it, and get rid of .Net while you're at it.

2) Never install drivers if you don't know what they do. You only need the WDM drivers if you have an ATI All-In-Wonder or VIVO product and want to use that specific functionality.

My ad
vice to you is to download and install a program called Driver Cleaner Pro. Then from the Control Panel remove your current drivers, the CCC, and .Net (if you don't need it for any other applications). Reboot into safe mode and run Driver Cleaner Pro following the instructions - get rid of all ATI video related drivers, CCC etc entirely from your system using this program. Reboot once more and install the optimised NGOHQ drivers only. Do not install the CCC, do not install .Net, and do not install any other drivers you find floating around the Web because they look like they might come from ATI.

Now try your games. You won't need the CCC to change your settings because the Control Panel and ATI Tray Tools are more than capable of doing it themselves.

Good luck

(Cool Barn) Thanks a lot for your respond, but the problem is that I need CCC because I connect my pc to the TV (watch movies), But maybe I'll try your suggestion just to see if it will get better..
