Strange NGO driver problem...Please help me! Ok So it goes like this,
I installed the NGO drivers and they run perfectly. But, just to be sure, I decide to remove them and load my old ATI drivers to compare them (yeah really stupid idea). So, I remove every trace of the NGO drivers (uninstaller first then I went in by hand and removed everything left befind). I downloaded the ATI drivers, and install them. At that point I get hit with a "Zero Display Service" error, but I continue anyways. The ATI seemed fine, until I started a 3D game (Deus ex) and everythng now plays in slow motion (not studdering, but smooth kind of like in the matrix and it's bullettime) and the sounds got out of sync as a result too (this happens for every game I have now OpenGL or Direct3D). I thought to myself "ok no biggie, I'll just go back to the NGO and it's superiority". I strip the old ATI drivers away (like before, Uninstallers, then by hand, and this time I used DriverCleaner Pro to aid in the removal). I reinstalled the NGO drivers...and I still get the same "Zero Display Service" error and slow motion effects in the games. I removed NGO again and pointed Windows Hardware setup to the NGO .inf files and installed it manually...still no dice...the "Zero Display Service" error is gone (probably still there, just no message) and I still get the slow motion effect...so now I need the tech savy guys here to enlighten me and save me from backing up and formatting my HDD...thanks a million!
