#1 | | Guest | Screen display pink and purple Yebo gogo,
My nephew installed & played for 8 hours+ Need for Speed Most Wanted on my PC, non stop.
So when I bootup the next day I noticed that my display has become pink/reddish/purple, although I can see everything on the screen even in games. It looks kinda odd, faint. What can be the problem. Drivers rerolled/re-installed everything in settings fine.
Thanx

#5 | | Guest | Yebo gogo,
Did degauss, nothing, no he didn't play around with the drivers, I even re-installed them, system restore everything. The thing is that the screen is just over a year old (Acer V.7600GT) and the warranty expired, so I guess I'll take it in for a checkup. I suspect a dry joint somewhere, cause I tested on another PC too, same problem. Will let ya know, thank 2 ya all. | |

#10 | | Professional Member | happened to me once, my brother pulled the monitor cable out when the computer was on, ruined the screen card.
if you can try another screen to verify if the problem comes from the screen or the card do it.
if it's the screen you'll probably need to buy a new one, but you can change the nvidia card settings for the while to allow regular use of the computer.
