So sue me, I'm either blind or an idiot, but I can't make heads nor tails of your version numbers. On
http://www.ngohq.com/home.php?page=F...t&dwn_cat_id=9
I see:
NGO ATI Optimized Driver 3.5.6 (21.15Mb)
Beta - (Windows XP/2000/2003)
NGO ATI Optimized Driver 1.5.6 (26.94Mb)
Latest Release - (Windows XP x64)
NGO ATI Optimized Driver 1.5.7 (21.1Mb)
Stable Release - (Windows XP/2000/2003)
NGO ATI Optimized Driver 1.5.8 (21.3Mb)
Latest Release - (Windows XP/2000/2003)
Now I rather gather that the last three somehow corespond to Catalyst version numbers, but I ain't even sure of that. I must misunderstand english or sumpthing, I "believe" the word "Latest" refers to "most recent", therefore there should BE ONLY ONE as the highlander said (no I'm not shouting) then there is the newest of the latest? the beta? btw, is it x32 or x64?
Here's the scoop, I'm a tech setting up two boxes one an ati agp 32 sol'n the other an ati PCIe sol'n w/ a socket 940
what does the beta ver num refer to? is it also catalyst, like 5.6? if it is, how come you have a stable release listed as x.5.7? unless the one is x64 and the other is x32?
its 5am here will check back every hour or so till noon
