Default Radeon 9500 Pro to 9700

Is it possible to change the number of open pipes on the Radeon 9500 Pro so it would work like 9700 with the NGO optimized ATI drivers? Its possible with the Omega drivers...

A 9500pro allready has all 8 pipelines enabled but has a 128 bit memory interface. Cannot be soft modded.

A 9500 non pro has 4 pipelines enabled and can be soft modded to a 9700 . With all 8 pipelines enabled and will have a 256 bit interface. But for it to work you have to have one of the 9500s with l shaped memory modules.

Wink Im running a 9500pro myself.

My 9500 pro overclocks pretty well. Overclocked they will outrun a 9600xt. And get pretty close to a 9700 non pro. Right now my gpu is clocked at 325 and my ram at 305. The default is 282/270. 325 is the default for a 9700pro. You see good performace gains overclocking these cards.
