#9 | | Guest | Well I've been using xp x64 since sunday morning, using this driver set. I've had freezes each day since where by my 2 monitors that are on the x800 pro go black and and my sytem freezes (my third display on the geforce 2 remains visible).
I wasn't having this problem untill I made the 64 jump, and these are the only drivers I've used.
Was concidering looking into the betas, but I'd rather not jump straight into switching drivers about. Has this problem been reported already at all?
I want to help out, as I'm sure up take on the x64 crowd is still finding it's feet, so any additional info that's needed please just let me know.

Perhaps it would be prudent to have mentioned that this black screen issue only seemingly occurs randomly, but I can't confirm if it it only occurs after game playing or not.

UPDATE
=======
Fixed it by accident. Uninstalled msn messenger the other day to replace it with Gaim (great im client I might add) and I realised that I haven't had the crash since (about 5 days now).
Anyway thats my success story (touch wood) so hope it helps someone.
Really like to jump on the beta testing for the new x64 drivers... any news? | |
