Have tried various adjustments.....but all WMV's are displayed as bright pastel colors........like an animated Easter Egg.

#4 | | Site Staff | Find this registry key:"DXVA_WMV" and set it to 0. because the settings are being stored in few locations inside the registry you have to use F3 (Search again) and make sure all them is setted to "0".
I will release an update soon. |

#7 | | Guest | correct me if im wrong but setting it to zero will disable WMA Videa Acceleration.
not like the 96 97 98 or x800 series actually has DXVA.
a quick check of your cpu usage will show it.
or is that only for High Def videos ?
also any test results rolling it yet comparing performance from ATI to NGO
modified drivers are not something im much of a fan of although the 2.5's were pretty nice. gave me troubles in some games but overall,, not really any improvements for me. some but nothing that caused me to want to stay with them.
but with a 9800 XT i think ATI is already squeezing just about as much out of them as they can.

#9 | | Guest | another workaround:
-> open the Video controll panel
-> move to color correction
-> set "Apply Color changes to:" -> All
-> set "Color Profile:" -> Advanced Mode
movies are looking normal now
