CPU: Pentium 4 3.40 GHz HT
GPU: Radeon 2600PRO AGP
M/B: Abit IS7 Socket 478
RAM: 2GB(4x512) DDR400
PSU: Antec Silent 450W
Default Sapphire Radeon HD2600pro AGP no driver support

When trying to install the latest NGO drivers, it does not pick up my videocard, and its really frustrating because ATi stop supporting this card too, why is it so different then the PCI express version for the drivers, and is there a way i can edit an .inf file to get the latest drivers to work?

Thanks

To be dead honest, I think the last driver to support AGP cards was 9.3, and those weren't even that great. There are some modded drivers that are decent (I used a modded version of 9.2's and they work great), but beyond 9.3, ATI simply stopped supporting them.

Not sure if the INF thing would work, however.

Its not really the fact that AGP support stopped, its more the fact that this card wasn't suppose to come out, According to some news site, there was only to be an PCI-E version of this card, but sapphire and gecube went ahead and made an agp model, when you go to the list of radeon cards, its not even listen, even in the not-supported set either.

If nothing else, go to Sapphire's website and download the 9.4 Hotfix drivers, and you should be okay. At least that way, you have the almost latest drivers for your board.

And if those work, I think that modded 9.4's with the AGP hotfix should work too.
