Default Vsync - Look-alike

It seems like on 1024x768 resolution,an image moves fine, but when it comes to 1280x800 resolution, its like a "vsync on" .
The image moves buggy.
Is it only my imagination ?
Your thoughts ?

P.s.
My specs:
E6400 @ 2.13 GHz
x1950pro 512Mb with 8.7 ATI's official driver and ATT 1.4.7.1193
2GB RAM
Samsung SyncMaster 226BW
Etc etc.

Since LCDs have low refresh rates, you should enable V-Sync.

I have lcd 19` Philips , in 1280 x 1024 im running 75 hz , Vsync & froced triple buffering with the D3D Overrider v1.60 thats ships with Rivatuner. Its smooth and the fps is more stable.

Without Vsync and Triple buffering games like mass effect , bioshock , americas army and many many other runs , less smooth , and actualy slower .

Ahhh one more thing i set the prerender limit to 2 , other way , i have huge fps drops , when moving view with mouse .

Probable Your first post isint too clear . and maybe i missunderstand what it says .

You say

"It seems like on 1024x768 resolution,an image moves fine, but when it comes to 1280x800 resolution, its like a vsync on , The image moves buggy. "

This is false statment the " The image moves buggy. " you refer to tearing right , and tearing is visible without the Vsync not with it ON.

Or pls specify what is " The image moves buggy"

You also ask " Is it possible to make em both smooth and max fpx ?"

So i posted how i do it on my rig to have smooth and high fps , or i dont reale get what you ask. Or maybe im over tired , who knows .

PS. Anyway why this is in this section ?? if you use official Ati driver .
