Artifacts are generally caused by hardware which could include something on the card or in the system being overly stressed. Could also be the PSU not keeping up as mentioned. On .net framework versions and the visual C++ question I can't really see these causing this symptom *shrugs*

I have my usual artifact problem and the anti aliasing wouldn't work once I exited 3D mode and returned to it. I tried playing an OpenGL Game and it failed miserably. The screen started to change into multiple colors which I have only seen when I overclocked my old X600 too high. I quit that app. I then started to try and overclock manually and the sliders wouldnt work. I incrised the clock and the sliders would just snap right back. I made sure to disable all the ATI processes before too. Something strange is going on here. |
