Default New Ati Optimized Driver for Counter-strike 1.6?

Hello. Few years ago, when I have ATI Radeon 9800PRO card, I can install special optimized driver for Counter-Strike 1.6. (Best FPS, Normal recoil of weapon, reduced mouse and keyboard input lag) It was great solution for me! Its really helps! (I'm CS 1.6 hardcore gamer )

Now, when I buy new computer with ATI X1950PRO, old driver doesn't working with new generation graphic cards (>x1XXX). But old HL1 Based games sympthoms which occured in past, occurs today also.

Is it possible to create new version of ATI Optimized Driver for Counter-strike 1.6?

Thanks.

heh this is strange question
because if i recall correctly no one made drivers just for CS
you need to try some older drivers for your card and cs

edit>> what is a point of 100to200FPS if human eye can only see max 60 heh

You misuderstood me. I don't need 200fps anywhere. I need stable fps input lag free opengl drivers for my X1950pro card.

Look here to understood, what i mean CS 1.6 Ultimate Drivers

Rivatuner - Nvidia cards tweaker mostly. You mean Ati Tray Tools mb? I was tried many various tweaks on it, but, unfortunately, this did not help me.

Really happy for you. You are the very cool guy who have nvidia card! (I hope). Maybe you could say something useful for OpenGl tweaking on ATI?

Ok... well first... im remember too the cs guy wanted an high fps.... well ... first you will install rivatuner(it's works) but i recommand more ati tray tools... (Disable the OLD I2C COMMAND during the instalation in the check box) when it's finished normaly you supposed to have the lastest drivers from ati/amd if not.... do it first before installin ati tray tools ! After that you will configure ati tray tools... You have sections for DX and Open GL... you will configure it... if you want help send me an pm... but i give you an tip ... put the settings to aplication controled... And that's it's ... i hope it's will help you and... normaly if you did that it's will works fine. And it's will be really strange if you have anothers problems. (And forgot the tweaks for opengl... because you can screw up alot of things

Thanks for tips anyway. Already I do this before start this thread (mass google searching ). I have display driver only (Cat. 7.10) + Ati tray tools installed on my systems. All settings is "Application controlled", no AA or AF etc. Only one setting which i change - Vsync Off in OpenGL settings. "Ati Hotkey poller" service disabled. Latest drivers on all system components. Small input lag still occurs.
