#1 | | Newbie | ALL-IN-WONDER w/ NGO ATI Optimized Driver hi there,
im using a club3d all-in-wonder 9800pro and i like the performance gain with the ngo optimized driver, but whenever i install it, my video-in stops workin, so that i cant connect my vhs to it or similar and my capture software isnt able to deal with the video-in anymore, if i use the original catalyst it works, does anyone have any idea what may be the cause for this?
thx, cyas
ps: same problem with omega and dna modded drivers

i think the wdm drivers are included in the ngo driver, it installs the ATI T200 Unified AVStream Driver as the ati wdm do,
maybe theres a bug in those modded drivers, disabling the video-in and tv features or something like that |

Also have you tried to install the ATI drivers first, test your VIVO to see if it works and then manually update just the display driver with the NGO driver using Device Manager |

I had a lot of fun in the early days using MMC...back in the early 90's and even up to and including the 8.x versions. BUT, when ATI went to the Unified T200 capture device, things went to hell in a handbasket. I won't even try using MMC anymore and will keep it off my PC.
I wish I could lend some encouragement, but, I've fought this battle for far too long and don't have any real hope to offer.
With the video capture device present these days on my X1950 Pro, I simply use the Windows Movie Maker (or some other app that has capture ability) to capture whether it's TV or other video. I've had good success with that and using some TV Decoder device e.g. my Cable/Satellite receiver.
You have my sympathy and wishes for good luck!
