Default X2600 Driver Clarification Needed

Im currently suffering from ATI stock Catalyst 7.8 drivers. I was using the most recent NGOHQ optimized drivers with my okd X600 but I upgraded and Im not sure what Catalyst version the current NGOHQ driver is based on and whether it is R600 compatible.

Let me search for that. Right now Im running on DNA and everytime I try to change the mem clock I get a CTD. Is it because I have the GDDR4 model?

I found it. Would you recommend that set over DNA? I was trying to avoid Catalyst.
