Default Need Driver RAD9600se

I use WIN98se as my operating system and I would like some direction as to what driver
would best suit my PC.My current driver :4.14.01.9137[ATI]
I have Falcon4 loaded and I find that if I use any other drivers,[the lastest ]I get blue lines in the cockpit, and at times the system stops in it's tracks. So if any one is using WIN98se,with a RAD9600 card and another driver and getting great rendering from the card, please speak up,you will have my attention.Or if you are a guru at this ,please don't be shy,I will listen.
Thankyou...........PEANUT.

The last set of drivers from ATI to support Windows 98/ME is version 6.2

Is this the 'latest' driver you've tried?

Yes,it is.Seems that any driver other than the current one gives me trouble.Very frustrating.

I don't understand what you're referring to when you use "current one". What is the "current one" you're talking about? Which version?

As for using 98SE, I was a very stubborn 98SE user myself and only migraged to XP about 3 years ago. 98SE is not even supported by MS anymore. While I don't encourage anyone to use Vista just yet, I DO highly recommend using XP. It's much better than 98SE.

AND, I used a 9600 Pro under XP very successfully, too.

It's true. A highly optimized version of XP will run equally as well as 98SE
