Disappointed

I was using the 7.2 drivers from ATI. I read about the ngo drivers and from the reviews they sounded great. First I tried the latest 7.3 download. I lost almost 1k points on 3dmark05 and had about 10 less FPS than usual. So I tried the 7.2. Now my score is down by 1.5k and about 15 less FPS. This is ridiculous. I'm going to try out the new ati 7.4 drivers and see what I get now.

Did you bother to compare the IQ?

Well I installed the ATI 7.4 drivers and everything runs fine again, even notice a little performance improvement on 3dmark05 over the 7.2 drivers I had, only about 150 points so it's not much. But that's just really odd with the NGO drivers, maybe my chipset just doesn't like custom drivers. Oh well.
