Yes N00b ruling is good

Let's be careful though, we are not talking about the subject of this thread.

Thank you all for the info althought it did turn into something else . It doesn't bother me what IMod was saying about the card not being extrordinary for the price. He is right on that. The 1650pro is not so hot. The one I bought was suppose to be a little better, it's the one supped up by HIS. I think they just slapped some nifty fans on it, thats about it. Now I have been gaming a long time, but I am not to comp savy on the technical side of things. So let rephrase what you had said in your reply nCaine. Download the latest NGO ATI driver. Uninstall my old one. Reboot in safe mode. Use driver cleaner(which I don't have, do I have to pay for this program?). Also can you explain what I am suppose to do in safe mode? Iv'e never used that before. Oh and also the person who pointed out my processor your right I was confused, this is an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+ Socket AM2. Does that fall in the mid-range or low-end cpu?

First of all Driver Cleaner is free tool , and its eazy to use .
Second To reboot in safe mode , press F8 while you restart your PC , ther will be fee things to select , you slooking for the safe mode , it will be first from top.
Safe mode basicaly is a XP running with basics stuff , no sound or graph drivers ale loaded.

Sorry i cant explay it better i need to lave to work, hope it helps.

Having trouble. I went into my control panel / programs and features and I removed the Catalyst Control Center program that was in there. Then I rebooted. Then I ran the download of the NGO ati driver. The same one you gave me a link for nCaine. I choose the CP instead of the CCC to save on resources. It didn't do anything. It ran and everything, I seen the CP screen pop up but I don't see anything in the control panel / programs and features that show that I have the program. I don't think it's working because now when I look at my display settings it shows my onboard video is working not my vid card. I must of done something incorrect.

I would say an AMD Athlon X2 4200+ fits in the mid-range CPU`s. A Low end CPU would be a Sempron or somthing like that

There are no NGO drivers for any of Vista's versions yet. Only XP.
You'll have to depend on ATI official Vista drivers for now. Regeneration has stated elsewhere that there may be some NGO drivers for Vista on the horizon....but it will be some time.
