CPU: M760
GPU: Radeon M x700 256MB
M/B: 915MP
RAM: 1024 DDR2
PSU: XP
Default mobility x700

Why doesn't new ati 7.3 doesn't work on x700 platforms. I've tried everything but it doesn't recoqnize my card. Any others having the same problems? I downloaded old omegas instead but the fps is horrible amongst most of the games. I know my laptop is not the most powerful but it should not be in 20fps during games while optimizing it for best performance, no vsync etc..

If some of you have better experiences on x700 from ngo please tell me

Normaly they supposed to works with the X700 series ... maybe is because is an mobility version but ... try to uninstall all drivers about video... install the ngohq lastest optimised drivers (7.3) and maybe it's will works!

well, it could be an isolated issue, as my X700 works perfect with the NGO drivers. in fact, it only works with the NGO and Omega drivers, as my laptop manufacturer chose to make my chip third party

that could work, but if his manufacturer is anything like mine (iBuypower) then the website is useless, as it has drivers that are farther back than ATI Catalyst 6.5
