the latest DirectX (april release) has some major issues and MS pulled it out from download
DX might be the issues here or ... maybe not
I shall test Armed Assault on the Windows XP PRO x64 and see

for IModAmd - until I'll get same or near the same error with another game, I'll not install official cats'

Well, tried the NGO 1.7.3 drivers for ATi on all my games, and i haven't found an issue so far. Which I hope will stay like that too.

Gone back to NGO 7.2. Because 7.3 seems to run sluggish (stuttering) and runs around 10-15 FPS lower than 7.2.

There's something definitely wrong with the CAT 7.3 drivers.

Over three times during Shivering Isles tonight, I completely lost video. The screen went completely black, there was no recovery other than to hit the Reset button on the front of the case.

After this happened the 3rd time within a couple of hours, I decided to uninstall the NGO CAT 7.3 drivers and revert to the CAT 7.2s. Since doing so, I've had no problems whatsoever.

I hope whatever it is they introduced that brought on these problems is fixed before the 7.4s.

ive the same pobl in ArmA (1.4/1.5), but on 7.2/3 original ati drivers too, i think is the game buged somewhere, not the drivers. in shivering isles no problem atm :0
