| | | Official Beta nVidia ForceWare 101.41 for Vista (x32/x64) | Vista hype continues with another release of Nvidia official ForceWare beta driver for Vista. This driver adds SLI support for GeForce 6 and 7 series, and improved OpenGL and SLI performance.
If we are posting about ForceWare, I’d like to mention that the last Official XP ForceWare driver is almost five months old (2/11/06 - ForceWare 93.71). Where is the fairness for the XP users - the majority??? Release Notes Download for Windows Vista x32 Download for Windows Vista x64

| | | | 8 Comments | | | Will this be for G80 cards too ?? | | | | Its ok I checked the nVidia Site, downloading now, many thanks!! | | | | by now i am pritty sure that as the drivers advance in their build numbers since 100.56 performance has been down hill for me and imm pritty sure for any non 8800 users since nvidia been trying to fix their 8800 fiasco and so rather then getting a new driver for XP i would rather have them get a new balanced driver... specially since alot of the 7xxx series are VISTA bla bla so just adding support doesnt cut it since alot of ppl might have been fooled by that and bought it thinking they would get abit more then just support even maybe some performance increase. know what start by not loosing any more frame rates then try on boosting it back up.... other then that driver still not fully working and crippled and what ever fault of MS as NVIDIA says but BU HUUUU like many before have said THEY KNEW IT WAS COMMING finished or not the layout was there so they should have taken the proper steps to avoid this CRAP .... right bout now i cant say i am much of an NVIDIA fan .... VISTA READY my ass... | | | | just shutup and try the damned drivers

| Quote | | | | | lol squall i always try the new drivers before posting havent you been following??
actually i do have a couple more of things to add:
*Driver crashes and restarts it self on windows logon from time to time.
*COH benchmark and gameplay performance went down a couple FPS.
*NO VISIBLE visual improvment in my tests.
*Cards idle temp went up (but that stress temp doesnt seem to get affected)
*3DMARK 01 score gone to the lowest vista one. 1500 points from highest VISTA FW 97.46
*3DMARK 06 score went down and now there is a 250 points diffrence with highest VISTA score (VISTA FW 100.51 or 100.54).
now squall i have tested these drivers... Have you??? | | | | Quote: |
