Posted by Regeneration on February 26th, 2007, 11:24 PM

Electronic Arts has released a demo of the anticipated Command and Conquer Tiberium Wars (C&C 3) game. This demo will give you a taste of what to expect from the full version of the game, by letting you command the forces of the Global Defense Initiative in battle against the Brotherhood of Nod.

Download (1.18GB)

Just tried it and it is just ‘nice’, nothing more. The game is getting boring very easily, and yet again, they ruined it with all these aliens and weird units. I really expected it to be good, but got disappointed instead. Personally, I liked C&C 1, the second one and this one really bored me. They also should put some good music, the current one is making me sleepy. Hopefully, the full game will be much better; otherwise, I will have to wait to Red Alert 3. EA sucks :/

argggggggggggggggggggggg how could they mess this one up bhaaaaaaaaaa EA DOES SUCKKKKK missed the westwood stamp ... gfx overall is good but not anything close to what i was expecting i take back my MUHAAAAAAAAAAAA.

couple of good actors: Grace Park from Battlestar Galactica on SCIFI (tooo skiny in this one if you ask me), Jennifer Morrison from House on FOX and the general whose name i dont recall but he has been around Stargate SG1 and other game titles and i didnt catch a very good look at the nod chick in the intro but i think i saw her around too.

but cast doesnt make the settings and the quality of the production like cloths and costumes shouldnt look brand new and shinny nor does kane look as scary as he used to look in previous titles and the robe wearing president lol....

like you reg i am pritty dissapointed from that demo was expecting more GFX wise and gameplay wise it doesnt feel C&C just right. didnt suck me in the game either which is a shame and not like you i aint much optimistic bout the final version since they did try to give you a large view of the units and structures and huhhhhh ive seen better and expected much more from this game....

P.S game runs 1280x1024 On My 7600GT Extreme with everything cracked up very playable...

P.S.S just tried it on my bro's rigg that i patched it up abit(yesterday) with a HIS ICEQ3 X1950Pro AGP 512mb(replacing his 9800xt zalman cooled) and ovcorse had to upgrade his psu to a over 400 one he had so choose a Thermaltake TR2-470W and finally replaced his monitor (CRT MAG 996PF) with a 24inch DELL 2407WFP rev A03.
needless to say he payed for those upgrades from his own pocket imm too broke right now to upgrade GPU and my Monitor hopefully ill get around to my own (GFX MONITOR) upgrade in the next 6 months...

back on topic game on his rigg runs at 1900x1200 with everything on ultra or what ever and runs smooth too even looks better i think yeah damn nicer liked it better there ....

I had some hard time getting and uploading it to the fileservers; last night. I couldn't find even a single suitable link, so I had to grab it from some Torrent at 1.1mb/s (Megabytes! not mbps).
