Israeli GPU Company Receives Funding from Intel @ DailyTech

Israeli graphics company Lucid Information Technology Ltd has raised 12 million dollars for research and development. Lucid Information Technology is a small company that employs 27 workers currently. The $12 million is funded by Intel and other partners including Giza Venture Capital and Genesis.

Maybe we will see some Multi-GPU on chip solutions in the future (2100 maybe), from this company. But I doubt it. I already checked up on them, they only have six staff members in their start-up company.

I suspect all you see (if anything) is improved onboard graphics solutions for Intel boards.

Intel have just funded some memory startup company as well, something to do with the use of plastic instead of silicon based construction.

if they create beter grafics for intel it would be great for laptop users and it can improve grafic support on new intel mbos


p.s.about plastics: hehehehh some plastics cant melt or burn on high temps
