The EAX1650XT is not meant for the high-end of the market, and should be compared performance and feature-wise to similarly price cards. The features of the X1650XT are excellent, with full support for Pixel and Vertex Shader 3.0 programs and HDR. In terms of performance, the card outperforms its intended competition, the 7600GT by goodly margins, but the market doesn’t stand still and the 7900GS is much c***** in price to the EAX1650XT card making it harder to choose the best value on this price point. As such I can easily give the card a Silver Gamers’ Choice award.
