is there any difference between this driver and the beta release ?

I had issues with beta ... 2d screen coruption ... I've installed it under compatibility mode ...

Should I try normal install ? (then I might get my problems back on)

I had severe 3d mode issues now LOL

2dmode is ok ! no more problems (only the x2 DDR issues 3 GHz etc)

3dmode was fine for a few seconds and after that big textures were haotic on screen and the card didn't want to be in 3dmode anymore ... only 275 MHz ... (not from the start)

The 92.91 NGO Modified works 100% PERFECTLY ! I had absolutely no issues (installed under compatibility mode) and I've finished NFS Carbon with it so I consider it 100% stable.

(My card was the same when I've tested 93.71 - 570 MHz / 1.5 volts)

Your both CPU and GPU are overclocked, and your motherboard is not exactly the overclocking king (or anything close to it). You’re using 7800GS which is known as a troublemaker and you overclocked it. I would be surprised if your system is really 100% stable. I don’t think you should overclock your current hardware because it is already known as troublemaker – overclocking it will increase the chances for problems (which is already too high) unless you're living in Alaska, unlikely.

hey hey hey :P

My system without the VMOD on 7800GS is ROCK STABLE (it's also watercooled) at that OVERCLOCK. I've tested it with 10-20 games and prime95 and a lot of application memtest85+

I've been using the CPU at 2700 MHz for months now and it's very stable ! I was running it at 2800 MHz but I had minor errors. The motherboard I accept it's a value one but it does it job very good actualy ! (the voltmod on the mobo is OK)

So my issues only STARTED when I've voltmoded the 7800GS The card 7800GS leadtek was and is a VERY STABLE card never had any issues.

Forceware 93.71 (without vmods RUNS 100% PERFECT and STABLE)

NGO 93.71 (beta or not) gave me a lot of problems.... (even if I took the vmod off and use the card at STOCK)

Temperature is NOT an issues since the card and cpu never goes above 38-40 degrees. (whatever I do)

I think there are some problems with NGO moddified 93.71 because 92.91 NGO runs 100% PERFECT ! and so does the 85.46 NGO !!!

Something that was tweaked in 92.91 NGO is not present in 93.71 ... (or there are some differences)

You can say all you want about my system but the MAIN ideea is that with 92.91 NGO is ROCK STABLE and never had an issue. Also before the vmod on the 7800GS my system was STABLE WITH ANY DRIVERS !!!

Never had issues at stock (or overclock without vmods)

The vmod brings me problems with normal drivers .... and NGO 92.91 fixed ALL of them !!! (so did 84.56 NGO)

So I believe that 93.71 (NGO) has some issues or it is not the same like 92.91 (something might be different tweaked)

Believe me with everything overclock and 92.91 NGO including all vmods and everything is STABLE.

I've run prime95 for hours ... so I did run 3dmark2005 and 06 .... rthdribl and so on ...

Apart from uninstalling the previous display driver from add/remove programs what else should be done?
