Ageia PhysX RealityMark Tested @ AMDZone

Ageia have had a fairly tough run of trying to convince the gaming market to bite-the-bullet and purchase the $250 physics processor. Though benchmarks scores have improved heavily since the initial introduction, as evident in our recent review, the difference in games today is not overly dramatic and there currently is no killer app. Furthermore, it is somewhat difficult to benchmark as none of the games which use PhysX currently support custom game time demos.

Just as in the days when sound cards and video cards were first introduced I'm not going to buy a physics card anytime soon. There just aren't enough benefits to warrant a $250 purchase. Wait and see... wait and see.
