MSI NX7600GT-VT2D256E Graphics Card Review @ AMDZone
Posted by Regeneration on August 17th, 2006, 02:42 AM

The NX7600GT is based off of Nvidia's mid-range GeForce 7600GT GPU, which is lower than the 7600 but above the 7300 in their product line. The 7600GT features 12 pixel pipelines, 5 vertex shaders, and sports 256MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 750MHz (1450MHz DDR). The GPU comes in at 580MHz. Like most other vendors, both of these clockspeeds are higher than Nvidia's reference design, 20MHz for the GPU and 50MHz for the memory. We were able to overclock it to a core of 634MHz and memory speeds of 807MHz. An increase of 45MHz in the GPU core and 84MHz in the memory. A great overclock for a card of this nature but keep in mind overclocking your card will put off much more heat and could influence system stability. We didn't run into any stability problems though at this clockspeed.
