The acceleration of game physics, and I use the terms acceleration and physics broadly, is a hot topic for gamers and developers alike. Hardware acceleration of various physics APIs has been demonstrated or promised, Microsoft is undoubtedly pondering a DirectPhysics implementation, and the basic concept of having hardware -- be that CPU, GPU or even a new kind of dedicated physics processing unit (PPU) -- acclerate physics calculations is back at the forefront of discussion.

200 Euros for some PPU card that almost nothing supports it? We only get some Physics effect. 200E sounds too much for it. The maximum I will pay for something like it is 100E. Let’s see if developers are going to support it.

Same here Rege , the price and lack of software support . If this 2 things gonna change ( well soft for sure) i gonna get it i think.

I just don't want to support this period. I'm tired of having so many hardware components to run a game. Instead of creating a whole new hardware piece to offload instructions why not just code better and optimize current hardware components? This is just a massive profit hog and has nothing to do with "advancement of technology". Poo I say!
