Ugh. This article is just another whine-fest. If you ACTUALLY look at the weapon comparisons and their numbers you can clearly see there is NO super weapon available that overpowers the standard ones. This topic has been discussed to death in the EA official forums and at Total BF2.

That SCAR-L is a super weapon. Elbit (red dot) and almost no recoil at all. Give me that rifle and I will be happy.

Yep that's it. If you bought SF then you can unlock this baby and it's SO EASY TO KILL WITH IT. So this is totally unfair. Medics also get that G36 and it's a good weapon too. DICE should take a lesson from Valve about making MP games. This crap makes me want to uninstall BF2 and to sell it.

One time I killed some guy and took his SCAR-L and I must say it's very easy to use rifle. Every n00b can take it and own everyone.

Yes it is easy to use. So is the PKM, the MG36, the G36C, the G36E, the G3, the AK-47, the AK-101, the DAO-12, the ONE shot ONE kill MK3a1 (don't know why more people don't use this).

The SCAR is NOT an uber weapon. You can plainly see that there are many weapons that are superior to the SCAR in a number of categories.

There's a phrase in golf regarding equipment that can transcend into this particular situation: "If it makes you better, then it's better." If you "think" it's a superior weapon it gives you much more confidence and you're not second-guessing yourself as you're shooting.

I'm no "great" BF2 player but I will not use the SCAR because of it's horrible recoil and poor damage per shot. (not to mention you're in the assault class which isn't conducive to scoring massive points efficiently)

Now I have SF and I think you're wrong about it. It's easier to use these new weapons and I don't think it's fair for the other users.
