Yet another nice find lkyng you champ, do you have a thousand bots searching the net all day long for the latest reviews and driver/program updates or something?

Just installed these and they sound really good (only tested MP3s in Winamp thus far, no games yet). I quite like the Creative Audio Console as well, it's simple but nice having access to various settings in the one application.

One final thing - I run a nifty little program called Easy Cleaner which, amongst other things, allows you to stop various programs loading at startup. I notice after installing these drivers that two entries have been added. The first of these is called "CTHelper Application" which I normally just delete and never really notice any difference to my audio. The second one though has perked my interest, it's called "CTXFIREG". Are Creative implementing some registry entries related to X-Fi into their Audigy series drivers perhaps? Probably nothing of the sort, but the name did get me thinking (something I don't do very often ).

Is kind of hard to understand that creative waited until late last year to come up with
a unified driver for their Audigy line of cards, but i guess the popular YouP-PAX
Audigy driver got creative to wake up. i have used the creative unified beta for some
time and I'm glad to see that they follow up with a proper release.
